We have just fired up the servers for our first beta of Remote Control Online.
What is it?
It is a remote administration solution that works over the Internet, and requires very little setup on your end.
I walk you through how it works.
Let’s say Bob calls you and needs help with his computer.
He says he keeps getting all these popups, but assures you that he has not downloaded anything bad.
You login to your account at help27.com and start a new support request:
That will generate a nine digit code:
You can email, or talk to bob over the phone and tell him:
“Ok…go to help27.com and enter the invitation code 123-456-789”
(We picked help27.com since it is easy to say over the phone)
He visits the website…types in that invitation code..and then runs a small helper application.
Once the helper app connects, that code will light up on your screen:
Click it, and you are controlling that computer in moments.
Now you can clean off all that spyware, and help Bob without ever having to go to his office.
Once you are finished with your session, simply disconnect and the helper application on the remote side removes itself.
For a limited time we are charging only $19.95 a month per administrator. Anyone who signs up during the beta will have that price locked for 1 year from the date of the final release.
Canceling is easy. No phone calls to a high pressure sales room – it just takes two clicks.
You can try it for free, by signing up here:

Steve,
I don’t often need to access computers off the domain, have you given any thought to offering a bundle of per session licenses? For example, a 20 session bundle for $99, 5 sessions for $29, etc.
Thank you,
Mike
Hi Mike,
Good idea. We keep this in mind as the beta progresses.
Thanks for the feedback.
