This week I came across a free E-Book from Microsoft. It is called “Windows 8: An Overview for IT Professionals”
It is about 140 pages long. The book does a great job of explaining many of the new ways of doing things in Windows 8.
If you think you might be deploying it any time soon in your organization, this is a perfect way to get your head around the changes in Windows 8.
For a limited time you can download it for free.
Here is the download link:

Hi Steve,
Just subscribed to the remote control online. Love it so far.
Any timeline as to when I can add computers so users don’t have to put in a code?
Not sure exactly yet, but the development track is the same as our Enterprise edition product….so it should be before the end of the year.
Thanks for the link Steve. I definately need this since my boss has already installed it on his laptop and always is asking me how to get things to work 🙂
Hi Steve.
One thing to mention, is I think this is offered for only a limited time. Get your copy before they remove it.
